So after reading Silverlicious (Thank you, Mrs. Perry) I came up with the idea to give toothbrushes as Valentine's Gifts to my kiddo's. Here is the card I made to go with them.
I am lucky enough to have a dental clinic in my school that gave me free tooth brushes!!! I know you can buy them at the Dollar Tree and Big Lots very cheap!
A nice alternative to candy and sweets! I hope they like it and my fruit!
I also posted this on a WhipperBerry under their link party. There are some of the cutest little Homemade Valentine crafts on that site!

Very cute! Do you have a template for the tooth?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea! I like things that the kids won't expect. They'd never expect a toothbrush on Valentine's Day! I love it! The tooth is adorable! I was wondering about a template also!

That is adorable. To be honest I've forgotten about Dental Health Month, it's not in our curriculum anymore :( Great idea.

ReplyDeleteNo template. I just cut it out of construction paper. :)
ReplyDeleteClever! Love this, although I think I would rather use my cricut to cut the teeth out! This is adorable.

ReplyDeleteThank you. My sister is an office manager for a dentist, so she gave me toothpaste a few months ago. I had to go to the dentist yesterday, so I asked for class supply of toothbrushes. I bought some Valentine cellophane bags at the Dollar Store. You gave me the idea to use a tooth die-cut for a tag.
ReplyDeleteThese are so great! Fantastic idea! I would love for my kids to get something a little more healthy. Thanks for sharing.
