Here is a picture of my wonderful husband Scott and myself! We met in college and have been together ever since! My boys, Davis (4) and Jackson (2) are a handful, but two of the reasons I am so dedicated to children.

Hi there! My name is Kristen Walsky and I started LoveTwoTeach, in late 2005, because of the lack of quality teacher and student friendly resources on the market. I wanted materials that served an academic purpose in Kindergarten and not just for "coloring". I wanted to create the one-stop site for literacy resources for the primary classroom.

I grew up in Charleston, West Virginia and attended West Virginia University! I am a proud member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. I received my masters in Early Childhood Education from Nova Southeastern University in 2000. I now live in Tampa, Florida where I have taught Kindergarten in Hillsborough County for 10 years. Starting in fall 2007, I will be teachng in Pasco County, Florida. I am so excited about the switch! I have also started my Doctorate Degree from Walden University. My goal is to become a college professor and start education reform from the inside out!
